Today I went climbing for the first time since… winter of 2008. I was expecting to be terrible after such a long hiatus, but personally, I felt like I did ok. My finger strength gave out first, but the technique was still there, and I think my core strength has increased since the last time I climbed. It’s well known that core strength is essential to good climbing, and it felt great to be able to do the courses static (granted, I was only able to climb a couple routes before I was exhausted ;P). They also re-routed the walls, so it was nice having a change in the small campus climbing gym.
I’ve been meaning to go back and practice with TKD too, but there’s something about the pace and self-control of bouldering that I appreciate.
in hopes that i blog more, i have a prettier theme now ;D
well, i didn’t have time to finish studying using the blog, but i did finish studying, and that’s whats important. ;]
I’m not sure how i can put up structures & mechanisms in a easy and efficient way… already a flaw in my system ;[
